Question: How can I add secondary knowledge skills?
Skills like knowledge, perform, and read/write language require multiple secondary skills by their nature. Characters often have class specialties in types of knowledge, they know specific languages, and can perform specific instruments. With that in mind, the template only possesses one knowledge row. Below are instructions on how to create however many more you may need.
Select the knowledge row. Insert → Row Below
Your new row may have a divided cell in it. Go ahead and select the two cells (under the "ranks" header) and hit "merge cells," pictured below:
Create as many rows of knowledge as you have ranks in (or want to pursue ranks in for a prestige class, perhaps).
Oh no! There's some weirdness going on over in the feats column now. What do we do with this? For this reason, I recommend you add read/write/speak languages, knowledge, and perform skills in even numbers. Each feats row is made up of two skill rows. Don't worry about feats until you're finished adding knowledge.
If you wound up with an odd number of rows, you'll need to move them up. Note: if you inserted an even number, you won't need to do this! You can simply skip to the next step and turn those slots into merged grids. Select all the normal, large-sized rows at the bottom of the table, and cut → paste them up to where the weird rows start. This will eliminate the weirdness!
But wait: there's still a gap at the bottom that leaves feats and skills uneven. If you'd like to clear this up, or just make room for new feats, you can select this and fill it in with the grid. After filling it in, merge each column's cells in groups of two rows, as pictured below.
Congratulate yourself on your new rows! I suggest skipping the word "knowledge" due to space and allowing the first one to act as a header while you move onto abbreviating types of knowledge.
